Kirstin is a qualified Naturopath & Medical Herbalist with a Bachelor of Health Science in Complementary Medicine, Diploma of Naturopathy & Diploma in Medical Herbalism.

Her training involved four years of theory and clinical study with the South Pacific College of Natural Medicine where she graduated in 2012.  During her education she learnt the amazing capabilities of the body in health, the path of illness and how natural medicine can be used to treat and improve the quality of life for individuals.

Having suffered from several health troubles as a teenager she understands the trials and tribulations of getting back on track and how far you will push your body until you burn out.

Raised in a natural health conscious family where her mother travelled New Zealand educating and helping people through nutritional health and having a toxin free home; she grew up seeing that small changes through diet and nutritional supplementation improved their lives in an incredible way.

Her curiosity to understand the cause behind disease and health declines really took direction after attending two naturopathic seminars in Auckland & Tauranga. The first seminar was back in 2005 called the A-Z of disease when she was only 15 years old.  Having had a passion for making natural products since 9 years old, the presentations really sparked her passion for helping people via nutritional and herbal health solutions.  In 2008 she began tertiary education,  where she trained to become a Naturopath & Medical Herbalist and in 2012 she completed her training with a
Bachelor of Health Science in Complementary Medicine through Charles Sturt University, Australia.  Along with a diploma of Naturopathy and a diploma of Medical Herbalism through the South Pacific College of Natural Medicine in Ellerslie, New Zealand.

In 2015
she opened a part-time clinic in Paeroa in the mighty Waikato which progressed to full-time in 2017.   In 2016 she became team masseuse for Paeroa West Senior A premier rugby team and also Waihi Athletic and Rugby Senior A premier rugby team in the Waikato.  She continued to work with Waihi Athletic Senior A's  for a second season having become finalists in the Thames Valley regional competition in both seasons.   In June 2017 she relocated to the Central Hawkes Bay with her husband for a contract milking position where she now runs a clinic on the Takapau plains part-time while also working alongside her husband in their dairy farming ventures.

Her clinical areas of interest are improving Gut health, which naturally leads to balancing of many body systems including hormonal aspects and improved uptake and utilisation of micronutrients and macronutrients in food and via supplementation.  The digestive system working at it's best is vital for overall good health.  Further areas of interest are Children's health were small tweaks in dietary, lifestyle advice, nutritional support and herbal medicine can greatly improve may childhood health concerns and she love's seeing children excel in schooling and life.   Female health disorders are another important area which really takes a toll on your life, they don't define you and there are ways to improve them!  She also has a passion for improving quality of life through chronic health conditions and associated symptoms like improving your skin, sleep, energy, memory, mental, circulatory, cardiovascular and respiratory health to name a few in helping you reach your genetic potential.  Sadly modern day life has left a drain on our bodies with increased prescriptions for things like depression and stress related conditions which in working with a Naturopath practitioner and your Gp you can talk control of your health in supporting your body and the cause of health decline.
